Note: Estimated costs of materials are only for those needing to purchase new paint sets, brushes and/or canvases/papers. Expenses will be much lower for those already having these items.

Amanda Wagner
Paint Pour Class

In this class you will get to experience paint pouring, a newer style of working with acrylics. You will learn how to work with colors and pouring techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces.  Amanda Wagner will lead this workshop style experience, encouraging each participant's artwork to be unique as they develop 2 different canvases. All supplies are included, so just bring your desire to make art!  $40 non-members, $32 members 

Ellen Ridenour -Silk On Silk 

This workshop is a fun and easy class with beautiful results. Once you learn the basics of transferring silk to silk you can use this technique to make many other unique items. Ellen Ridenour is our teacher for this workshop. She holds a BFA and many awards for her multiple disciplines such as photography, fiber, and encaustic. This class is May 4th 1pm-4pm $84 for non members $75 for members. *ALL supplies are include - 2 scarves and an extra project during the processing time.

Ellen Ridenour
Alcohol Ink On Silk

Another way to make fashion with Ellen Ridenour is to paint silk scarfs using alcohol inks. Ellen Ridenour is our teacher for this workshop. She holds a BFA and many awards for her multiple disciplines such as photography, fiber, and encaustic. The class is May 11th 1:00pm-4:00pm $84 non members $75 for members.  *ALL supplies are included - 2 scarves and an extra project during the processing time

Thomas Zuber Award-Winning American Abstract Painter

Thomas Zuber is an award-winning American Abstract Painter. Zuber has a MA in Art Ed. and has taught art for 30 years. We welcome him into the Painters Guild studio to lead us through his process of abstract expressionism on canvas. A rare look into the mind and workings of the artist Zuber will demonstrate his painting process from charcoal drawing to monochromatic grisaille and use of traditional glazing.
This class is June 15th from 9am-12pm.
Suitable for all skill levels.
$54 for non-members
$45 for members
*a small supply list will be added asap
