Start your Guild Summer with a short and fun class led by Amanda! There is still room, but don’t delay! Here’s the information:
“Let’s Get Abstract”
A mixed media abstract portrait class inspired by famed Canadian artist, author and poet Sandra Silberzweig, is set for Thursday, June 15, from 6-8 p.m. at the
Goshen Painters’ Guild.
Sandra, the self-proclaimed “Goddess of Color,”
is known for her intensely colorful abstract portraits;
also images of fish and shoes, among others.
In this relaxed and fun class, you’ll be guided in steps to echo Sandra’s bold style which she has developed due to a rare neurological condition, synesthesia. You’ll draw and create an abstract portrait full of color, design, and pattern. To view Sandra’s works, look her up on You Tube or at https://sandra-silberzweig.pixels.com/
Your Instructor will be Amanda Wagner, B.F.A., Guild member and Director of “Young at Art” children’s art classes. Maximum Enrollment, 15 students.
The tuition is $50, ($40 members; $45 associate members) with all materials provided.
Register online at goshenpaintersguild.org or call
Julie Barth at 574-596-3991 for mail-in registration.
